There are many other domain name providers such as Tucows, Yahoo, NetSol and many more. I can recommend Godaddy since (a) I use it to manage over 20 different domain names (b) they are the world’s No.1 ICANN-accredited domain name registrar for .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO, .BIZ and .US domain extensions. Domain Cost - The current cost of a .com doamin is around $8.95 - $9.95 per year (Godaddy / Yahoo) and should not exceed more than $10. Buldling Services - Some domain name registrars provide other services such as hosting, marketing tools, online stores, merchant accounts and credit card processing. I personally recommend keeping the hosting and the domain name seperate.
